BACKGROUND: "BITTER TEARS"
Shortly after midnight, on New Year’s Eve 2023, a young man is found dead in his home in Stockholm.
The evening had begun in celebration. Thor was ringing in the new year with his girlfriend, his best friend, and his friend’s partner. There was laughter, music, good food and drinks — a night to
remember.
But the joy was short-lived.
Suddenly, Thor began to feel unwell. With worry in his eyes and his hand pressed tightly against his chest, he staggered toward the  bathroom. “I just need to breathe,” he said. “Everything’s okay.” Then he disappeared.
As the minutes passed with no sight of him, concern began to grow. His loved ones knocked gently on the door. No response.
The emergency call to 112 was made immediately. The ambulance arrived quickly, but it was already too late: Thor was dead.
But was it really an accident?
Or was someone behind Thor’s far too early death?
